DisCouRSE is pleased to launch its new Community Conduits page, showcasing a growing network of volunteers helping connect digital research technical professional (dRTP) communities across the UK. Community conduits act as trusted links between DisCouRSE and wider research communities, helping to share opportunities, events, and project updates through their own networks and communities.

They also provide valuable feedback and help identify groups not yet engaged with the project. The first cohort of conduits brings together expertise from areas including data management, AI and machine learning, bioimaging, research infrastructure, high-performance computing, and astrophysics, with representatives from organisations including the University of Sheffield, the Alan Turing Institute, UCL, EPCC, the University of Southampton, and Queen’s University Belfast.

DisCouRSE would like to thank all of the volunteers for contributing their time, knowledge, and community connections to support the project and help strengthen collaboration across the digital research landscape. The project is continuing to welcome new volunteers interested in supporting and connecting dRTP communities.
