How do dRTPs contribute to the teaching of Digital Research Competencies?
Have you been involved in teaching a Digital Research Competency (DRC)? Carlos Cámara-Menoyo from the University of Warwick is exploring how Digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTPs) contribute to the teaching of digital research skills through the DisCouRSE-funded project, Mapping and evaluating dRTP’s contributions to computing skills pedagogies in HE.The project is looking at what DRC training is being delivered, who it is aimed at, and the role dRTPs play in delivering it.
The project has launched a survey to examine what DRC training is being delivered, who it is aimed at, and the role dRTPs play in delivering it.
The team is looking for more survey responses to help build a fuller picture of DRC training across higher education. Responses are particularly welcomed from Data Stewards, Librarians, PRISM professionals and Academics. The anonymous survey takes around six minutes and is open to anyone who has been involved in delivering training in any DRC, regardless of job title or career stage.
The survey closes on 12 October 2026.
