DisCouRSE Lightning Talk Session: Sharing Project Outcomes
On 30 July, DisCouRSE funded project leads and co-leads came together for an online lightning session to share the progress, outcomes and experiences from their projects with the wider cohort. The session also welcomed projects funded through round 2, allowing both new and existing project teams to connect and learn from each other.
Projects highlighted their key activities, achievements and challenges, providing an opportunity to identify common themes and potential synergies across the cohort, while also sharing feedback to help inform future DisCouRSE funding rounds. The session highlighted the breadth of activity across the DisCouRSE projects, and provided a valuable forum for projects to connect with others and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

Resources shared during the session
A number of useful resources, communities and opportunities were shared during the session, including:
- PeerLadder – a platform supporting peer learning and mentoring.
- SpatiaLondon – community, workshops and opportunities to get involved.
- Cohort Based Open Leadership Training and Mentoring: A case study from 2026 SSI fellows.
- SSI Fellowship Programme 2027 – applications are open from 10 August until 5 October.
- Research Coding Community – a community and collection of resources for research coding.
- DRTP Operational Management Community of Practice a community of practice for digital research technical professionals leading operational and service management.
