ADAPT: Assessing dRTP Advancement Paths Through Hackathons

Digital Research Technical Professionals are vital for modern research, but they often lack clear opportunities to develop their careers and leadership skills, largely due to limited awareness of opportunities and networking gaps.

ADAPT will address this challenge by running an innovative programme of training, mentorship and a hackathon event, helping participants explore advancement paths and build professional networks.

By supporting the next generation of digital leaders, ADAPT aims to strengthen the research workforce, increase collaboration and inclusion, and provide a model for others to follow. We aim to deliver practical skills, career confidence, new connections, and openly available resources, and while also testing the effectiveness of this approach in making research and innovation more effective and equitable.
