Independent Advisory Board

An independent Advisory Board will provide external oversight and steering for DisCouRSE.

Responsibilities

Members of the Advisory Board agree to:

• Review the progress of the Network against its objectives;
• Review and advise on plans for the flexible fund, in particular the timing, budget, and focus area of each call;
• Help to prioritise joint working between the DRI Network+ grants and related activities;
• Propose members of expert review panels to ensure independent scrutiny of our approach to distributing funds;
• Act as a bridge between the Network and their own communities, helping to disseminate calls and maximise impact.

If desired, members may also review details of unsuccessful proposals to the flexible fund (where they are not conflicted) as an additional check against bias.
